The Board conducts the general policy oversight and direction of the Global ODIC. It is responsible for establishing long-term programs, approving staffing levels and securing external funding.
Board Members
Abraham Kurian Kamara
Abraham Kurian Kamara is a career Diplomat and currently serves as the Deputy of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Liberia to the United Nations and Other International Organizations in Geneva Switzerland. Having worked, studied and lived on four (4) continents Mr. Kamara is a multilingual professional, with more than to a decade experience in the Private and Public sectors and with expertise in the following fileds: International Business Law, Donor engagement and Management, Talent Acquisition, Project Management, Political analysis, policy development focusing on Public-Private-Partnership (PPP). Mr. Kamara holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law (LLM) and Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy.
Before becoming Global ODIC’s Board member, Mr. Kamara, previously worked for Global ODIC on various projects, as Technical Lead Consul in charge of overseeing multinational bilateral negotiations, policy guidance, business development and investment pofolio management, institutional improvement, change management, capacity development and contract reviews
Emma Smith
A Board Member and a career professional practitioner in media, culture, finance, social work, communication and community engagement with society and institutions. Ms. Emma Smith is qualified with bachelor and masters’ degrees in finance management and Business Administration; with over 10 years of career experience in public and private sectors, local and international institutions
She governs Global ODIC programmes development and interventions and ensure leadership that meets client expectations, focusing on programme performance and results
Dafee Musu Gopeya
Mrs. Gopeya, is a Board Member and she holds Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with emphasis in Management and Master of Arts (MA) in International Development. Mrs. Gopeya experience 10 years in Monitoring and Evaluation, Knowledge Management, Survey and benchmarking, Health project Management, Data Management, Analysis and Presentation, research and development. She has implemented many projects that include:
a) USAID/DAI- Liberia Revenue Generation for Governance and Growth (RG3),
b) USAID-Research Triangle Institute (RTI)/EHELD Project,
c) National Malaria Control Program
d) USAID Governance & Economic Management Support Program (GEMS)
Head of Presidential Delivery Unit
Mohamed Salia Dukuly is Global ODIC Board Chairperson and a registered member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and a psychosocial educator with over 18 years of excellent casework, community development, capacity building, counselling, project management and group-work experience. He holds a Master degree in Social Work, a post graduate diploma in Community Services, Barchelor of Arts in Education and many other professional certificates. He is based in Sydney. His role in the Global ODIC is to build partnership and collaboration with relevant stakeholders for better services.
